This past Friday I went up to Moline to see Three Days Grace for the fourth time and Shinedown for the sixth time. So, yes, two of my absolute favorite bands! We got there about an hour before the doors opened and stood inside. It was SO cold that night. If I had to wait outside, I don't think I'd be able to. I'd have to go over and sit in TGIFridays or something, because that's how cold it was. It was a little unorganized once they finally did open the doors. It didn't matter how long you'd actually been in line, everyone just made a run to the doors. I managed to get pretty close and somehow worked my way all the way up to the third row by the time Three Days Grace started. It was an AMAZING show!
As most of you know by now, Adam of Three Days Grace announced that he had left the band with about 3 weeks to go until this tour kicked off. With no singer, Matt Walst of My Darkest Days filled in as lead vocals. I'm a huge fan of My Darkest Days, so I knew he'd be fine. I thought it was really cool of him to help his brother, Brad the bassist, out and make this tour happen for Three Days Grace. He actually did better than I expected, and I expected a lot! You could tell he was nervous, but can you blame him?! He got in his groove, though, and really killed it.
Shinedown was epic. They are one of the best bands to see live. If you've never seen them before, please do yourself a favor and do it! Brent, the singer, sounds amazing live and the whole band puts on a great show. Check out more of the photos from this concert on my Facebook page here.

Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie | Concert
Saturday the 105.7 the X gang went to the Twins of Evil tour featuring Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. It was so epic! I had my camera to take photos of our promo girls with fans at the event, but I brought my telephoto lens, as well, to get some photos from our suite that was on stage left. It ended up being a pretty awesome vantage point.
This show was amazing. The lights were great, there were plenty of costume and set changes. It was so entertaining. I'd definitely see either of the performers if they come back to Central Illinois again!

Foxy Shazam & The Blushing Gun | Concert
Tuesday night 105.7 the X hosted Foxy Shazam at The Castle Theatre. We got a meet and greet and I even got to record the interview Matt Bahan did with them. They were all really nice and I loved their style. I was expecting a crazy show and they did not disappoint. I cannot wait to see these guys again! The Blushing Gun, who I've only recently discovered, was really good, as well! They were very mellow and chill.

10 Years | Concert
I was planning on going to 10 Years at The Castle Theatre just to
watch, but when my boss at Radio Peoria asked if I'd like to do a meet
and greet and take photos, my response was, "heck yeah!" We headed up
early and a few of us met 10 Years and got some posters signed.
Afterwards, I headed down to the front to scope out my spots to take
photos at. I was glad I was doing this now, because in a few weeks Foxy
Shazam will be playing there for 105.7 the X. I feel like all I shoot
lately is concerts, but I'm completely okay with this!
