Carnival of Madness | Concert

New Medicine played at a show for 105.7 the X last month and I got a chance to talk with their drummer, Ryan. He invited me to take some photos at the Carnival of Madness show in Springfield, featuring New Medicine, Cavo, Halestorm, Chevelle, and Evanescence. I didn't get a chance to take photos of Evanescence and only got a few of Chevelle before I had to leave the photo pit. It was an awesome experience and I can't thank Ryan or New Meds enough!

Pop Evil & Saving Abel | Concert

105.7 the X was at the Heart of Illinois Fair all week long and the grand finale for us was the Pop Evil concert on Friday and Saving Abel on Saturday. We did a meet and greet with both bands for the fans. I got to meet them, too, and got a poster from each. They were all really nice guys and I was very excited to take photos of them! The lighting was actually really good at the Opera House at Expo Gardens, so I was very pleased with the results.

Cami | Senior Session

Cami wanted senior photos done and I was more than happy to do them! She's gorgeous, a great cheerleader, and a real natural in front of the camera. She didn't need much instruction and was really open to anything. She sent me the outfits she planned on bringing, so I had a few spots in mind that I wanted to use. Future seniors, take note!

Halestorm, New Medicine, & Emphatic | Concert

As you may know, I intern at Radio Peoria, so when a concert is going on, I get to take photographs! This is great, because I'd normally be attending 105.7 the X's events anyways, but now I get a photo pass and the opportunity to meet the bands. It's been great and I really love it!

Halestorm, New Medicine, and Emphatic played at the Twisted Spoke Saloon in Tremont for us the other day. I got to sit in on Matt Bahan's interview with Lzzy Hale and even chit chat with her a little bit. She has awesome shoes, just sayin'. It was a super hot and sweaty show. I can't imagine what it would've been like actually being in the crowd. I was in the backstage area and up front in the pit the whole time, not even touching other people. Any fans who were at that show are troopers!
